“End Death”

End Death is a high contrast, high intensity, black and white image depicting a medieval knight stabbing the grim reaper with a sword. Light is erupting from the grim reaper’s eyes as his head tilts back, recoiling from the blow. From the bright spotlight the words “END DEATH” stand glowing above the rest of the image. This painting was created as a propaganda piece calling for an end to violence around the globe. Death does not need to be as ubiquitous as it it, and certainly should not be normalized int he way it has been. With the uptake in conflict around the globe in recent years, this message seems just as important as ever.
