About

A Little Quality Time:

Drew Mortenson is a graphic designer, illustrator, and artist born in Seattle, Washington, and based out of San Francisco, California. Spending most of his life in such naturally beautiful destinations has created a unique dualism in his artistic process both inspired by the local nature and the grit of living in big cities. Growing up his aesthetics became heavily influenced by the street art and graffiti that he would see and attempt to imitate later in his sketchbook. He then went on to study fine art for most of his early artistic career, focusing on drawing and painting but also dabbling in sculpture, collage, and animation. He then moved to San Francisco in 2013 to study Design at The University of San Francisco.

Drew was awarded his bachelor's degree in design in 2017 and graduated from USF. While attending classes at the university he also worked for a student-run design business called the Graphics Center and operated as the lead designer for Ocean Grown Marketing. He is well-versed in the Adobe Creative Suite, with specialties in Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, and AfterEffects, while continuing to learn various coding languages. Currently Drew expresses his passion mostly as a graphic designer and illustrator, but also channels his creativity into writing music, sculpture, animation, and cinematography.
